Who is this workshop for?
Behaviour support practitioners, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and other allied health clinicians working with people with communication
disability. Learn about inclusive services for people with sensory processing needs and physical disability.

Learning outcomes:

• Understand how communication impacts behaviour and autonomy.
• Explore the connection between sensory processing and communication.
• Learn strategies to support communication within sensory and behavioural contexts.
• Understand the importance of communication and autonomy when supporting people with physical disability using switching.
• Practical approaches to promote communication and autonomy in therapy sessions.
