Presenter Bio:

Kate Munro is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with 9 years of experience and has worked in the field of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) since graduating. She provides individual and group therapy services, consultation to clinicians, workshops and training to individuals, schools and organisations. She also has a special interest in hospital inpatient communication for people who use AAC after completing her honours thesis on the topic. Kate loves working directly with clients and delivering workshops. She is particularly interested in assisting clients to access social media, enabling mental health communication, and providing clinical education for student speech pathologists.
