Ben Edwards

Speech Pathologist

After completing his qualification, Ben worked as a Speech Pathologist with the QLD Department of Education for two years before making the move to South Australia to join Two Way Street. Prior to his foray into the world of Speech Pathology, he also completed a Bachelor of Business (Management) and worked for a number of years in the construction industry.

Whilst completing his studies towards becoming a Speech Pathologist and in subsequent clinical placements, he developed a keen interest in supporting people with complex communication needs. This interest extended into his role with the Department of Education. Ben worked closely with students with complex communication needs, enabling them to better access the curriculum. Ben now specialises in the area of complex communication and has brought his wealth of experience to Two Way Street.

In his own time, Ben enjoys attending live music events and going on scenic drives with music playing in the background. He’s spent a lot of time playing rugby union and cricket, but tries his best to remain more of a spectator these days. Ben has taken up golf to ease the strain on the body and loves getting out on the course whenever he can.
