Michaela Banks General Manager
Michaela has extensive experience spanning customer service, sales, management and marketing. She ensures that Two Way Street runs like a well-oiled machine, overseeing and administering all aspects of the business from marketing and strategy, to billing and compliance. She is currently completing a Master of Business Administration.
Michaela’s son uses AAC, and through her family’s experience she has developed a strong passion for inclusive schools and communities. Armed with first-hand knowledge, she is a keen advocate and fantastic asset to Two Way Street. She has presented nationally and locally at conferences, organisation-based trainings, in the Two Way Street inclusive education lecture series, and co-facilitated national research focus groups. She is a consumer advocate on the peak Clinical Safety and Quality, and Governance and Strategy Committees for the Women’s and Children’s Health Network and a board member of a community childcare centre.
When she’s not wearing any of the above hats, you can find Michaela spotting koalas with her three children, reading books, or listening to podcasts about books!
